Worth stating plainly rather than glossing over: Pygmalion runs on TripoSplat, an MIT-licensed, single-image-to-Gaussian-splat model open-sourced by VAST AI Research, the same research group behind Tripo3D. That is a higher bar than Pygmalion's mesh add-on is trying to clear, and if quad topology and multi-image fusion are the requirement, Rodin is the right tool. Because a splat has no inside or outside, turning one into a mesh is surface extraction after the fact, not a second, purpose-built generation. On real output, chunky, solid objects come out watertight with clean topology; thin or intricate shapes can keep a few small holes where the surface extraction had nothing solid to close around.
